Everything was great about my care.
Sometimes staff were so busy that they could not come to me straight away but they could not help that.

Everything about my care has been better than good. How can you improve something which is best practise. From the moment I walked into Cynthia Spencer hospice I felt completely at home. My reception from all the staff was overwhelming which I will always remember. I believe this is my extended family because I feel completely at home. What more can I say but thank you to everyone.

The only complaint is the timing of meals at the Hospice.
I believe that the lunchtime meal (the biggest of the day) is badly timed and should be returned to fall at say 5:30 pm. My wife taken most of her medicines (tablets and liquid) in the morning and is not ready for a big meal at that time.
Perhaps lunch time could be a snack type meal and dinner the main meal of the day.
Not really a complaint.

Thank you for your feedback. The main meals in all ward areas are served at lunch time. Where possible we will accommodate specific patient needs if patients or relatives inform staff that a main meal at lunch time is uncomfortable. Hotel Services team who serve the meals are staffed to provide main meals at lunch times.

I would prefer the main meal to be served at lunch time as you get more room to eat. I am very happy with the care I received.

The care my mother received from all hospice at home staff was excellent.
The family felt truly supported.The staff were not intrusive.
They listened to our needs and were very informative.
