The palliative care the patient received was exemplary and we could not have wished for better. If organisations planning palliative care services anywhere used this patient's case as an example they would not go far wrong. At each stage of the patient's illness the care and medication was really to cope with those alterations. The patient was always very positive herself regarding all the "lovely ladies that looked after her". "They are so kind, nothing is too much trouble".
