My wife was unable to understand all that was doing on during her last 4-5 days so it is difficult to say. However I was with for 24-7 and for treatment care and understanding by all her carers was first class.

Suggested improvements
Nothing you could have done better from my knowledge. However it should have asked for help sooner.

Thank you for your feedback. It is good to see that the team were able to help you and your wife in the last few days. We work very closely with the teams that refer patients into Hospice at Home and provide regular advice and guidance to teams on the appropriate point they should refer. Sometimes this can be difficult to predict for teams and occasionally the team may receive referrals that mean they can only support for a few days. We will continue to work with those referring into the service to ensure they know when might be the appropriate time to refer for support.
