Share review of Cynthia Spencer Hospice
My daughter was treated with great care, compassion and dignity, and respect for her own knowledge as a nurse herself.
There was one exception which was dealt with at the time from a male nurse who brought his work problems into his care. Apart from this I would have scored force at point six. Without the care given my daughter could not have remained at home.
Thank you for your kind words, although we are sorry to hear about the conduct of the male nurse. It is not acceptable to burden patients and carers with our own problems, work or personal. The nurse concerned was not a member of the Hospice at Home Team as several teams may be involved in an individual’s care. However we will make sure that all teams working with Hospice at Home are aware of this helpful comment.
