I asked for loratadine to treat my allergic reaction I was prescribed an alternative that did not work and I continued to get worse and quite uncomfortable. In the end I got my husband to bring in loratadine tablets.

Thank you for your feedback. I have shared this with medical colleagues to ensure we have prescribed the medication that is most appropriate. It is difficult for me to comment on a specific medication but there may have been additional reasons as to why this medication was not appropriate.
