The immediate of the arrival of support, equipment and bedding once the support had been triggered by own G.P. at Abbey House practice (Wimborne Close surgery) and our palliative care nurses. Everything was done to support patient in his final days with gentleness and genuine thoughtful care. All his wishes regarding his dying well supported and met. The support to myself and my two sons at this time when we had know, cared for patient for over a year helped us over this final trauma as well. It also helped that after the event the equipment was quickly and quietly removed which we also found very helpful. Also the follow up checks from all our wonderful calls to us after patient's death was really appreciated. Talking to others could really appreciate the quality of care we received which contrasted strongly to friends in other areas of the country when the standards are for from the care we received. We are all very grateful and my son's plan a 3 peak challenge to raise money for this wonderful cause!
