The consistency of having the same midwife (Karen Adler) throughout my pregnancy as well as after.
Karen offered excellent support, advice & care.
My midwife who has been great & always made me feel at ease (Karen - Clarendon lodge)
However when I have needed to speak to labour ward I've always spoken to someone quite rude. My 20 week scan also wasn't sent through I rang the hospital & lady in appointments was very rude & wrote on my record I had refused an appointment which wasn't the truth.
Karen has been excellent. Really good level of communication. Very practical. Have felt in very good hands.
Very approachable midwife. Good that she is available so soon after arriving here to answer any questions & queries.
My community midwife Karen is excellent. I felt she really got to know me during my pregnancy and was a great sounding board which I wanted advice. So it was great that I saw her post-natally as well.
- Had a bit of trouble getting through directly to our midwife's mobile/response to texts (during normal hours)
- Everything else was great.
Antenatal classes ran by Karen Adler were informative and supportive
I found community midwife Karen to be very friendly and supportive. It was good to see her at most appointments while pregnant as well as after birth.
I felt sometimes the appointments at the surgery felt rushed so slightly longer time allowed may have improved that.
Friendly, on time, always seem happy to listen and offer reassurance.
Very good consultation and explaining process in simple terms/ words. Understand the feeling and response till I am satisfied.
