The staff are very professional and exceptional at their job, but the service is years behind sexual health services in other counties. I also felt discriminated against due to my age and sexuality, as postal testing for certain infections is only available to either under 25s or gay men. The appointments system is only by telephone, which makes it more difficult to book, and I imagine dissuades a lot of potential service users from being tested (which may explain the overly high prevalence of STDs in Northamptonshire).
