I moved to the area 28 weeks into my pregnancy. The community midwife (Emma Frayne) did a wonderful job getting me set up here. She has been friendly, welcoming and informative throughout the remainder of my pregnancy. The only slightly frustrating thing is that all of my blood tests, including blood group, had to be re-done as apparently Swindon would not accept the results in my records from Reading. This resulted in a slight delay in my receiving my anti-d injection and also seemed to be a waste of resources that could be addressed to improve service in the future.
