A very efficient team. All appointments were on time
Cannot fault the care that has been provided at Sacriston Medical Centre by Diane, she explained everything from start to finish and was always willing to help out where she could with any questions I had. I only attended the PAU once so far but again, the care was great and could not be faulted. I have every faith in the midwives that will be delivering my baby to provide the same level of care.
The midwife run aquanatal classes are fantastic and invaluable. They not only offer new soon to be mums an opportunity for safe exercise when their bumps get bigger but also a chance to meet other mums to be and build an essential social support network. The classes are also a chance to informally speak to the midwife with any concerns which you may feel don't warrant a formal appointment at a clinic.
The only issue I had was being discharged, it took 10hrs waiting for a dr to check over my baby. The very long wait was very upsetting for me and my partner for many reasons. I don't think it was anyone persons fault, but think the procedure needs looking into.
Excellent and thorough midwife.
All of the midwives I have seen have been friendly and have been able to answer all my questions and reassure me about any problems I have encountered with my pregnancy. All have taken the time to make sure I am happy and that I understand each step of the care I have been given.
Widwives are very informative and extremely pleasant and caring - great service
I have attended aquanatal at the Dolphin Centre from week 16 of my pregnancy. It is an invaluable service. I have found it excellent for many reasons. It has given me a way of keeping fit weekly which I have been able to do right through my pregnancy. It has also been a great way of getting top tips and information from the midwife. It also provides an opportunity to ask questions to the midwife as well as the other participants. It is really friendly, relaxed and welcoming. Through attending weekly I have made a really good set of friends that I meet up with before the sessions and speak to regular outside sessions. Aquanatal provides the opportunity to relax as well as exercise. Due to work commitments I have found it difficult to attend other groups for pregnant ladies but I feel if I had not attended aqua natal I would have been lost. There are a variety of private sessions for pregnant ladies in the town but they are expensive but aquanatal is a reasonable price and means it is accessible to all which is great. I highly recommend it, I am very aware it not a service which is available everywhere and I think it is a great shame. My friends and I are incredibly grateful to the midwives that run aquanatal and we feel it has made a huge difference to us all in so many ways throughout our pregnancy.
Nothing needs improving.
Very friendly. Felt like all questions I have had have been answered quickly and efficiently.
