There are a million things I could say about what was going about my journey at the cardinal clinic. I did not think I could find a place (especially a mental institute) where I have felt so safe. It really has been a magical place for me. The group classes were excellent (majority of them) and certain nurses went about and beyond ([name removed], [name removed], [name removed], [name removed], [name removed] to name a few). I did feel however not checked up on, especially at the start, and felt that I really had to ask for help instead of being regularly asked to have a chat ( I was told one- on- one checking would take place which did not). Nor was I even assigned a second key nurse. There were a few administrative issues with my insurance communication and clinic that meant I had to cut my stay short. Also, whilst the food was great I often felt that there was a negative atmosphere at dinners and felt I was being rushed To eat which doe not help my ED! Otherwise I cannot be more grateful to everyone for their support and making this an amazing step to my recovery.

I have to say that the support that I received from the nurse was outstanding. [name removed] was especially a lifesaver for me so please give her extra recognition. During the current circumstances, as the size of the groups were small, I found that to be very beneficial. I always felt safe and supported and felt like all the staff had my best interest at heart. I have come out of the other side and I am so very grateful to you all. Thank you with all my heart. [name removed] also [name removed] yoga is amazing!!

The amazing staff here were totally fab.. nothing was ever to much trouble and I felt 100% safe here.
A special thanks to [name removed] my key nurse she always brightened my day when I did not think I had anything to smile about.

The immediately feel of being in a safe caring place.
I cannot think of any improvement, without exception all the staff provided both materially and mentally.

Staff.
Environment (atmosphere in clinic).

Gardens and grounds (beautiful).
Variety of activities (each day/week) food!
Friendliness/understanding.
General care and support.
Ability of C.C to adapt every day, especially at this given time and 'outside' life during pandemic.
