The members of staff are all brilliant and very kind and helpful. [name removed] was particularly amazing. The 2 factors that need to be improved are. 1) The medical health sign at the entrance is very off putting. It should just read "cardinal clinic" as it seems to highlight that to the public that it is for "mentally sick" people. I actually took a taxi to arrive here and I was so embarrassed by the sign (which I did not know would be there!) that I told the taxi driver that I was visiting someone! 2) The clinic is a bit too restrictive. Every patient has varying degrees of problems and all the progressives seem to involve sitting around and talking. I think there needs to be more variety in the programmes.

I cannot speak highly enough of the care and support the cardinal clinic have provided me with over my 2 visits. From the nursing staff through to Dr. [name removed], [name removed] and of course [name removed], [name removed]. Special mentions to [name removed], [name removed], [name removed] and Dr. [name removed]. 10/10!!

The staff were fantastic (with 1 exception) they had plenty of time to listen and offer advice, you never felt rushed. To improve: some of the groups. Very repetitive if you went regularly - although I realize these are always new admissions, but I could be split into new and continuation could also add some more variety. Kitchen staff were fab and very accommodating. All in all a good experience (and I feel great!!).

Most things were good but main issue not enough structure and has a one size fits all system. Rude kitchen staff and cleaning staff. (Not small smiley one) (cleaner). [name removed] was amazing. [name removed] and [name removed] are the best.

The staff are all so amazing and welcoming. I was particularly impressed with [name removed] and was so surprised to hear this is her placement job as she is a natural. I also loved my two hey nurses [name removed] and [name removed] and they were both there when I needed them and made me feel so comfortable. The food was outstanding and the overall care provided was more than I could imagine. I also want too shout out [name removed] who always made time to ask how I was and I found it so comfortable having young staff around. I want to say a huge thank you to everyone.

All staff (nurses and consultants) are extremely supportive and approachable. The only comment that I would suggest an improvement is a little more notice/or planning around consultations with my consultant. It quite often landed up being around the time of a group that I wanted to attend.

I cannot find the words to express my gratitude to [name removed]s [name removed] and [name removed]. The former managed to raise the possibility of a diagnosis on the basis of referral letter - something that my local NHS MH Trust failed to spot for nearly seven years. What was always fobbed off as Anxiety and Depression (for nearly 30 years) has now been diagnosed as ASD. The quantum of irritation I feel for the NHS is only matched in a diametrically-opposite was by the superlative insight offered by [name removed] [name removed], and after a detailed assessment, by [name removed] [name removed]. I have struggled with my daily life for many many years but now, for the first time in my adult life (and, at time of writing, I am but two weeks away from 48 years old) I feel I have a chance of getting better. Intensive long-term bespoke treatment has been recommended - significantly different than the NHS advice of merely returning to my GP 'for some tablets', but given the overwhelming misdiagnosis they provided, that shouldn't be a surprise. I look forward with interest to see how the C-PTSD caused by the NHS is 'treated'. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend either doctors I have had the pleasure of being assessed by at the Cardinal Clinic and would urge anyone who has either fought Anxiety and Depression for years, or has observed the misery on long-term issues, to be referred here for what I consider to be a wholly better assessment than I have ever received through the NHS. Also, have always found the personal secretaries massively helpful - special thanks to [name removed] If I could offer rate higher than 5 stars I would. CH ASD & ASD
