All of the staff were very friendly and helpful - straight away I felt less nervous. Somehow or other I had been led to believe that I shouldn't eat or drink after 6.00 am- this wasn't the case and so I was asked if I would like a cup of tea or coffee and after my treatment I again was given tea and sandwiches.
The atmosphere was excellent - a nice big room and other patients to talk to a TV.
Everyone gets nervous when attending for treatmetn - but as far as I was concerned my blood pressure was fine and that goes to prove how relaxed I was. Thank you to everyone.
I would struggle to find what could be improved - apart from a more comfy trolley!?
The care was excellent from the nurses through to the doctors.
The nursing team was professional and supportive, they worked so well together and were very courteous and caring to all the patients including myself. They anticipated all my needs and were very attentive to details. Well done team - keep up the good work and give yourselves a pat on the back!
From coming into ward 20 the staff were friendly and very professional. They made my stay very welcome. I didn't feel I was being rushed and they made sure was OK to leave the ward. The staff in theatre made me feel relaxed. The doctors/staff explained what I was having done. Checked again by doctor on the ward.
Great staff.
