I came to the ward with a unique circumstance, I am a MH professional myself and as such have struggled to look for and accept help as well as admit to myself that I have problems. The staff here made me feel at ease, where there to talk too, but also appeared to understand that I am familiar with the processes of the ward/card. My doctor was receptive towards my own knowledge and collaborated with me regards my treatment plan. I now feel like I am in the driving seat of my own recovery. This intervention has potential saved my life and I am extremely grateful. I know a fair bit about guidelines and performance indicators. My experience has been flawless. Me and my family thank you.
