We feel -and are feeling - very supported by the nursing staff at Berrywood Hospital (Cove Ward) and especially by way of several meetings that took place with [name removed], Carer Peer Support Worker, based on Harbour Ward. [name removed] was able to understand us because she herself has suffered from the problems of close family members having autism and mental health issues. [name removed] is a shining light in the darkness of the frustration and anxiety that we have experienced as parents of someone with acute mental health difficulties. JL/.
