I was unfortunate enough to be thrown from my horse landing on my back and with a painful injury to my left leg. Paramedics assisted me from the vehicle which had transferred me to hospital; their service and behaviours were exemplary. I remained in A and E for about 9 hours during which time the excellent care from the nursing staff and doctors gave me confidence in a service which often receives a poor press. X Rays were taken and it was determined that there was no apparent fractures in my back or my leg. I was very impressed with the whole service which resulted in me being totally satisfied with the diagnosis and treatment of my injuries.
