The relationship between activities here to what I do at home

Suggested improvements
Sometimes where I was sat during lunch time was not ideal as was unable to communicate with others due to where I was sat.

Review of Oxfordshire Stroke Rehabilitation Unit (OSRU)
14th August 2024

Staff were always helpful, and answered my questions if not too busy. But conditions I came in with were not well understood, especially the impact on my general condition. So it affected my wellbeing and nights became very difficult I have been almost sleepless for a month. But general treatment by staff always good. Some problems with my medication arrangements.

Suggested improvements
Better understanding of the medication.

Review of Oxfordshire Stroke Rehabilitation Unit (OSRU)

The food was very nice, the staff day and night could not have been more helpful. Anything I wanted I only had to press a button. It was nice to feel so safe when one was feeling weak and vulnerable

Suggested improvements
I can’t really think of anything but maybe more junior staff at mealtimes and morning wash & showers.

The care and concern from staff. Confidence in ability to achieve goals. Clean and pleasant environment. Nursing and HCA care. View from window. Everyone is kind and caring.

Suggested improvements
More staffing at peak times. Eg: During medication and meal times.
