Therapy was good-staff were professional
Staff were kind and understanding of my needs
The nurse (Melissa?) is a star. She and all others deserve a much better pay deal than the Govt are offering
The staff were amazing
The GP was excellent, very thorough and kind.
Not busy so short waiting time. Nurse was kind, chatty, told me exactly what was wrong and what she was going to do. I was told how to do after-care, given extra dressings and care leaflet.
Didn’t have to wait long for my X-ray and staff very helpful
This is the very first time in my dealings with many Oxford health establishments that I felt angry and upset.
I went because I had developed a sizeable haematoma on my calf following a fall on the advice of my daughter who happens to be a GP. She had said it was advisable to get it looked at as infection and complications can easily set in and my age - 73 - does not improve things
When I was examined the staff concerned were very dismissive - frozen peas ice pack and raise the leg. Fair enough, I did say there hadn’t appeared to be any infection , but I was happy to wait two hours, I just wanted a bit of reassurance and correct treatment. But for them to be so dismissive as to be rude, including the comment that my daughter “should have known better” left me very angry. So unnecessary and not very professional
