It would be good to know if I became unwell during the day. I could get an appointment that day other than being told to call back tomorrow at 8 am. I have been told this 3 times in the last week. Today I called at 8 am exactly, got through on the 35th time and was told that there were no appointments available. How can this be provision of a service? How do you define 'medical emergency'? If I think it is, I may be wrong and wouldn't wait to take an appointment for someone with a greater need, but if can't see the doctor when I need to, it may increase from intervention to medical emergency. Moved here from Loddon Vale as would never get to see doctors!
