Today I went and seen doctor Oldham. I felt stressed due to lack of sleep and son being ill. She was so lovely and understanding. Great doctor.

Typically my GP is excellent so was the previous one! With the scarcity of attracting GP's, there is increasing intervals between requesting an appointment and getting offered one. This situation has certainly worsened in the last 5 years. I have been coming to this practice for 35 years so it's quite obvious how the time between the initial phone call and the appointment has lengthened. Also on almost all occasions I require the expertise at a GP and not a member of the acute team or some other member of the clinic team because I invariably have to than see.
