Kept waiting nearly half an hour not made aware doctor was running late, I went up to the desk twice, plus had to put my son in school club as I was made late to pick him up ans they will charge me for this needs to be taken into consideration.
If you want to be kept waiting, up to 85 minutes past your appointment time, & have your severely autistic daughter repeatedly stated at by reception staff go to Whitefields
Nice and friendly.
Rang in afternoon for appointment, was told to ring back at 8 am next day.
Myself and my partner stayed on phone for 45 mins waiting for answer.
It's this kind of service that makes patients go to A and E instead receptionist rude and unhelpful.
I ended up driving to surgery while still on hold to make appointment.
Doctor could have rang day before to sort out app.
Receptionist didn't smile and wasn't friendly, she was rather officious about the paperwork, and kept me waiting for ages while she went off to check something. I was only doing what I'd arranged with the nurse the day before. Keeping me informed would have helped or being caring/compassionate. I came with a bad foot but was left standing for ages. Nurse on the other hand was very caring and helpful and reassuring.
