As usual the receptionist Dr Ray, the nurse who took blood samples were courteous, friendly, easy to talk to and efficient.
Asked to speak to I the Triage doctor following an incident at home. The receptionist politely asked for details which I supplied. I received a callback from the doctor (Dr Ray) within ten minutes who then took a full history of the incident and provided an initial diagnosis but suggested I come in for a fuller examination to rule out other more serious possibilities. Came into the surgery to find that they were operating under extreme difficulties. This was the last day they were operating in the old building prior to the start of building work.
I was seen by Dr Katherine Long who was running a bit late but the attention and care she took was amazing bearing in mind the pressure on her and her time. She confirmed the original telephone diagnosis but ruled out the other (more serious) possibilities.
I couldn't ask for any better care and to get this at a time of considerable upheaval in the premises was I felt outstanding.
extremely difficult to get appointments. rarely see the same doctor.
checking in system for appointments will tell you 'on time' then you may wait for an hour with no further update.
this feels like a sausage machine practice.
Dr Chan was really patient yet professional, she really looked into issue despite it taking up a bit more time and was very understanding.
Helpful secretary.
