The Village Group Practice

Since we joined with Armthorpe the service has gone downhill. I tried to make an appointment only to be asked why I wanted to see a doctor by the receptionist! I do not want to share what is wrong with me with anyone other than a doctor. Trying to get an appointment is terrible. I was on the phone for thirty minutes only to be cut off after 30 minutes, not good. I want to see doctors who know me, I do not like the new surgery in Armthorpe. I expect my comments will make no difference, you are not going to change back now are you?

Following surgery on 21 Sept I brought my hospital discharge letter in on Tues 25th for the medication it said I needed from my GP. I was told it would be available to collect on 27th Sept but when I called in to collect it at 1-30 it hadn't been actioned. I was told to return at 5.30 pm, which I did and it still wasn't ready. Not great service. I waited until a GP had signed prescription as I was not prepared to wait another day or drive back.

I have always been extremely pleased with this procedure. I move out of area soon and I am anxious that my new doctors simply can't measure up to this place. Always there when I need you! Thank you.
