Lengthy waiting lists for appointments albeit unavoidable currently

I've had difficulty persuading receptionists in the past to give me appts. for regular PSA tests even though Christies have said I need them every 6 months

Having to spend too long hanging on the telephone.Receptionists are far too busy trying to cover all lines.

Thank you for your feedback, im very sorry to hear that you spent a long time waiting on the telephone. Our phone lines can get very busy, especially during peak times (mornings), however we do have an option for patients with non-urgent issues (if they don’t feel they need to speak to us today) to contact us online if they have access to the internet; the link is on our website or you can find it here https://florey.accurx.com/p/A82026. Our Care Navigators work extremely hard answering the calls that come into the practice, and we do increase the number of people answering the phones at peak times where possible, but it can get very busy. We take pride in offering the highest standard of patient centred healthcare for the community of Kendal and the surrounding areas. Operating across 2 sites, we are the largest General Practice in the South Lakes area and offer a range of services at both. We offer some evening and weekend appointments.
We understand the importance of listening to our patients, and reflecting on feedback so that we can make improvements if necessary. Its also great to hear when we're making a positive difference!
