I waited until I couldn't cope to make an 'on the day' appointment as I couldn't get an appointment within a reasonable time scale. Thankfully I was able to be seen on that day, and the Nurse Practitioner that I saw was very knowledgeable, listened, cared and was able to make a plan for the way forward in my treatment.
Suggested improvements
If appointments were available, before 4 to 6 weeks, I would have booked one. Instead I had to risk ringing at 0800 and hope I could be seen.

Easy to book an appointment and seen promptly. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Surgery clean and airy.
The GP I saw was extremely well read on the issue and helped me to fully understand the process. I didn’t feel rushed during the appointment and left feeling very relieved and satisfied with the outcome.

We take pride in offering the highest standard of patient centred healthcare for the community of Kendal and the surrounding areas. Operating across 2 sites, we are the largest General Practice in the South Lakes area and offer a range of services at both. We offer some evening and weekend appointments.
We understand the importance of listening to our patients, and reflecting on feedback so that we can make improvements if necessary. Its also great to hear when we're making a positive difference!
