I found it easy to get an appointment on this occasion as it was a follow up from surgery. Usually when I ring for an appointment at 8 am it a can take 20 minutes or more before I am able to speak to some. The Receptionist and Practice Nurse were very pleasant and helpful.

I didn’t see any hand sanitizer or face masks (but I had remembered my own). It can be reassuring seeing surfaces cleaned. I think a more suitable dressing could have been applied if one was available.

It takes 2 weeks to get a routine appointment

More appointments so patients can be seen sooner

Insufficient regular face to face appointments. The system is top heavy with same day telephone appointments that are not needed.

Please reinstate regular face to face surgeries and use telephone appointments only if same day appointments are needed.

I was given treatment on 20th July for skin damage of 4 weeks cream 4 weeks off before going back for reassessment but couldn't get the return appointment and had to wait another 3 weeks. I've now been referred to a specialist on an emergency 2 week basis. When I called to make my return appointment I was told there was nothing available that day and to call on the day at 0800. I did this the next day (13th September) and was told it was only a routine appointment and I'd have to book, the next available was 4th October. Now I am worried (and annoyed) that the extra 3 weeks wait might be important, hopefully not of course.

See above. I doubt the reception staff are qualified to decide if something is routine or not but in any case they got this one wrong.

I think the system of care in having a Physician Associate, in this case [name removed] is really good. Feels like a thorough way to support diagnosis.
