I rang to see a doctor about my knee & back. The receptionist gave me an appointment for the next day to see [name removed] & I was very impressed. He was so helpful & very pleasant. Although I am 77 I felt he gave me his time & support. He is an asset to the surgery in my opinion.

Came for pneumonia vaccine.
Easy to check in. Appt was on time.
Nurse was very kind and very professional.

It's not a clear question. Slightly disingenuous. Yes, I can phone up and get an appointment easily provided that I am prepared to wait up to 4 weeks. I don't feel that this is the fault of the practice. It's the way it is in the NHS. From what I hear from friends and family, at JCP we are better off than most. Because I am retired and can be flexible I don't personally have much trouble.

Profile
We take pride in offering the highest standard of patient centred healthcare for the community of Kendal and the surrounding areas. Operating across 2 sites, we are the largest General Practice in the South Lakes area and offer a range of services at both. We offer some evening and weekend appointments.
We understand the importance of listening to our patients, and reflecting on feedback so that we can make improvements if necessary. Its also great to hear when we're making a positive difference!
