Actual face to face appt was good and helpful however very difficult to get an appointment and took several weeks

The practitioner I saw was pretty dismissive of my concerns, made me feel like quite small and silly, and like my problems healing from my operation were all my fault.
(Later that day I was admitted to urgent care after having massive bleed… so clearly I wasn’t just exaggerating. There was a problem with the op site)
Also when I asked for advice about potential nerve damage in my hand, expressing particular concern because of how it would affect my livelihood, his response was to shrug and say “well it’s done now, isn’t it?” Which was not particularly helpful.
Suggested improvements
The practitioner could have addressed my concerns and not been so blasé about the whole thing.

We take pride in offering the highest standard of patient centred healthcare for the community of Kendal and the surrounding areas. Operating across 2 sites, we are the largest General Practice in the South Lakes area and offer a range of services at both. We offer some evening and weekend appointments.
We understand the importance of listening to our patients, and reflecting on feedback so that we can make improvements if necessary. Its also great to hear when we're making a positive difference!
