Very good service from all the staff.
I phoned at 8am and waited in the queue, the care navigator was unable to provide an appointment for my 6 year old that was a time sensitive issue. I was told to go to the hospital or ring 111, the hospitals are at crisis level and I should be able to book an appointment with my own GP practice when I call first thing in the morning but due to the care navigators deeming the issue none urgent I didn't get my 6 year old an appointment.
Their process is not appropriate as it should be triaged case by case by a medically trained professional.
Rang in the morning feeling very poorly , receptionist gave me an afternoon appointment, the nurse practitioner was very helpful and thorough.
Excellent practioner. Interested in my case. Discussed options. Did not rush me.
The practice nurse was professional friendly and competent. The receptionist helped when the patient check in system wasn’t working.
I thought the downstairs reception area floor would benefit from a hoover.
The James Cochrane Practice was awarded the iWantGreatCare certificate of excellence in 2024 for delivering outstanding care.
