I rang to make an appointment for a health check and got one a few days later. The nurse was thorough and very nice and explained everything clearly. I was able to make an appointment with the receptionist to speak to the pharmacist about my results on my way out of the surgery.

It was a pleasure to have an appointment with the nurse I saw. She was very proficient at her job and put me at my ease. I had every confidence in the care I received from her.
I would have given 5 stars but I feel there is always room for improvement.
Suggested improvements
It is sometimes quite hard to get an appointment but I am always very happy to see one of the nurse practitioners or the nurses. They are extremely knowledgeable and caring and have a nice way with them.

This was a follow up appointment to investigate a change in the blood reading relevant to the kidney.
I have second review on Friday to complete a medication review so timing was good.
I arrived on time ( (5 minutes prior to appointment) and was seen on time, pleasant relaxed atmosphere . Test completed with speed and efficiency, all good.

Every thing went as expected so no improvement from my point of view.

We take pride in offering the highest standard of patient centred healthcare for the community of Kendal and the surrounding areas. Operating across 2 sites, we are the largest General Practice in the South Lakes area and offer a range of services at both. We offer some evening and weekend appointments.
We understand the importance of listening to our patients, and reflecting on feedback so that we can make improvements if necessary. Its also great to hear when we're making a positive difference!
