It’s easy if you are able to wait four to six weeks or keep trying for up to an hour to maybe get a same day appointment.

With all of the current burdens and constraints on the medical system, I don’t think so.

Appointments can be difficult even if needing something for a chest infection. Unless you ring at 8 am and are prepared to wait for a long time to be answered.

It's difficult because the NHS is critically underfunded. Most people who work do the best they can.

We take pride in offering the highest standard of patient centred healthcare for the community of Kendal and the surrounding areas. Operating across 2 sites, we are the largest General Practice in the South Lakes area and offer a range of services at both. We offer some evening and weekend appointments.
We understand the importance of listening to our patients, and reflecting on feedback so that we can make improvements if necessary. Its also great to hear when we're making a positive difference!
