The surgery a Maude Street is usually clean but unfortunately someone had been into the waiting room with very muddy boots and it had made quite a mess.
I was happy with the appointment and the doctor was very pleasant.
I had a telephone conversation a few days earlier with the specialist nurse from the surgery and I found her extremely nice and informative.
Suggested improvements
At present I am happy with the treatment I receive at both surgeries. The nurse practitioners and nursing staff are extremely nice and very professional.

You are advised to use the app to choose an appt. Before I have been able to send a message and the navigators have been able to help with an appt. Now they want you to book the appt via the app and have no communication with the care navigators.

We eventually got an appointment and felt that my sones symptoms were dealt with.

The appointment was 40 minutes late which was a significant waste of our time. If we had known we could have used that time to complete the other tasks e had that evening.

Appt for a blood test following a consultation with GP. Booked on Saturday morning and was able to get an appointment on Monday morning at the surgery of my choice. Attended my appointment and was called in, had blood taken, informed of when they'd be back and I was saying good bye to the receptionist 1 minute before my appointment time! Excellent service, especially as I work full time. Thank you.

Operating across 2 sites, we are the largest General Practice in the South Lakes area and offer a range of services at both. We offer some evening and weekend appointments.
We understand the importance of listening to our patients, and reflecting on feedback so that we can make improvements if necessary. Its also great to hear when we're making a positive difference!
