It’s very difficult to get an appointment with a GP unless you call at 08.00. This isn’t always possible and when you can the appointments have all gone. Also when I asked if could have an appointment with a GP at the reception desk I was told to call again at 08.00? Does this now mean I can’t book an appointment for the future with a GP?

Suggested improvements
I always feel questioned about why I want an appointment! This isn’t the care navigators issue but I think maybe a Gp issue? I don’t want to explain why I need an appointment. It shouldn’t be about pointing you to the right person. It should be about continuity with your own GP. I don’t even know my own GP anymore as I am always directed elsewhere. In healthcare patients should be able to build up a rapport with their named GP to be able to feel comfortable disclosing information or needing support. Then if ness a referral to someone else. GPS don’t know their own patients anymore.
