The practitioner I saw was pretty dismissive of my concerns, made me feel like quite small and silly, and like my problems healing from my operation were all my fault. (Later that day I was admitted to urgent care after having massive bleed… so clearly I wasn’t just exaggerating. There was a problem with the op site) Also when I asked for advice about potential nerve damage in my hand, expressing particular concern because of how it would affect my livelihood, his response was to shrug and say “well it’s done now, isn’t it?” Which was not particularly helpful.

The practitioner could have addressed my concerns and not been so blasé about the whole thing.
