I used the NHS app on the Monday and was given an appointment with a nurse practitioner on Wednesday of the same week. This was excellent and I recieved reassurance and solid advice after an examination concluded that I required painkillers. Thankyou to all concerned.

Although initially I was hoping to see a doctor, hindsight proved it to be unnecessary.
