I waited until I couldn't cope to make an 'on the day' appointment as I couldn't get an appointment within a reasonable time scale. Thankfully I was able to be seen on that day, and the Nurse Practitioner that I saw was very knowledgeable, listened, cared and was able to make a plan for the way forward in my treatment.

If appointments were available, before 4 to 6 weeks, I would have booked one. Instead I had to risk ringing at 0800 and hope I could be seen.
