You aren’t asking me about the actual appointment and its content.

Suggested improvements
My appointment was supposedly an annual review. I’m a retired ICU consultant. It’s there in my record. I didn’t need a “review” as I had yesterday. I realise that boxes need to be ticked (pointlessly). However, maybe you should just screen your patients for these appointments before you book them. All I had done was bloods which I have done regularly as methotrexate screen. Height and weight and bp. I’m an ICU consultant! A few patronising questions about my diet. The HCP told me I have a “very strong pulse”. Somewhat meaningless. She probably didn’t realise that the harder you press on an artery, the more you feel it. I appreciate that you are ticking boxes and trying to achieve targets. However, I think you need to rethink these annual reviews. I’m expecting a call in a couple of weeks from an AP to discuss my results. Why not cut out the initial “review” and just have the Advanced Practitioner review?
