From the moment I phoned up I was treated with kindness and respect. The receptionist accommodated my request for both a telephone call and a face to face appointment for x2 separate on-going issues with x2 different JCP [name removed]’s. My phone call with [name removed] [name removed] was very helpful, I was able to make an informed decision on starting a course of HRT medication to improve my quality of life during menopause. She discussed this with me thoroughly and I had time to reflect and absorb this information on a prior phone call. Including up-to-date research to consider prior to making my decision, excellent care! My face-to-face meeting with my registered GP [name removed] [name removed] was handled with sensitivity, professionalism and kindness, as always. I had recently had a seizure whilst on holiday & finally getting to talk this through with my own GP was of great comfort to me! He arranged fu promptly with the Same Day Emergency Care at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary and the care I received here was equally as thorough! Working within the NHS myself, I appreciated the great service our NHS gave me over the last two day’s. It can be very daunting to fall ill in a country far from home, I was glad to get back on British turf, I can tell you! Thank you to all involved! [name removed]
