My appointment on Thursday was fine, although I now have to wait another week to get the injections which the doctor prescribed.

I rang to speak to a different doctor on Monday morning who had prescribed some medication and was told by the receptionist that a message would be sent to him, but I hadn't had a response by close if surgery on Wednesday. A face to face appointment was sought and achieved by Friday morning at which appointment I was told that the previous doctor was away on holiday. So it would have been better if the receptionist had told me and I could have asked for an answer from another doctor on the Monday instead of being left in limbo.
