As I am fed up with the inaccessibility of seeing my GP. There is a mess at the practice between the doctors and the receptionists. Last year, with ongoing back pain, I was directed 4 times for a blood test within a three week period; I still am yet to receive the results and when I enquired about the reasons for this many blood tests, they were testing various organs that were unrelated to the pain I had. All that was needed was one sole blood test for all of this.
Thanks to the changes they have recently introduced, it has become impossible to book an appointment.
My care by Dr Prasad is great. However it is near to impossible to get an appointment at the surgery. If I call the surgery I'm kept waiting for 20minutes when reception answer the phone they say they will find out more information leave me hanging for 10minutes and then someone else comes on and starts from the beginning. I feel reception are not always helpful.
Very impressed by the extremely kind and helpful staff at this very busy practice when I took my elderly mother for a review yesterday. Gp was patient and understanding. Reception staff and lovely nurse went above and beyond in the service they provided . Pharmacist next door also very thoughtful. Such a positive experience. Thankyou
