Pleased with my appointments but concerned about the receptionist knowledge.
When asked about collecting a bowel cancer screening test, I was told there were none at the practice and given a telephone number to call to order one. I later found out that Dr Ellis had arranged for one to be left in the surgery for me all named and ready to use. Luckily I picked it up.
The appointment with the diabetic nurse was fine, but I had real problems getting an appointment with the. doctor to followup my discharge letter from the hospital. I was Discharged on September 2, but the first appointment I could get was October 24. I don't think that's satisfactory.
I find the receptionists really helpful and very pleasant. I always come away with an answer and/or someone calls me back.
The nurse was extremely helpful and kind. Her advice and approachability is very helpful and empowering.
Lucy Case was very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. I was given this option of a coaching referral by Dr Ellis, which I took up. As a result I am much more aware of lifestyle choices, in particular diet and was given the opportunity of another referral to Chanctonbury Leisure Centre for which I am now a member and benefitting from using the gym and receiving a good supporting programme. At my last session with L Case I was informed about the 12 week Horsham Council Wellbeing course which I have enrolled onto.
