Thank you for your feedback, and I am sorry that you have experienced these problems. We are aware that there are currently long waits to get through to us on the phone, and that patients are being cut off. It is a long-standing issue that we have tried to resolve with our current phone company but they have been unable to locate the problem. We will be moving to a new phone system by the end of the year that should give all our patients a better experience.
Not only was the appointment on time. My blood was taken with minimal fuss. Very friendly experience. Results came through on NHS app promptly. Very impressed.
It takes too long to arrange an appointment. When I called the surgery I was number 10 in the cue which took about 30 minutes before I could speak to anyone. A telephone appointment was then arranged with the doctor.
I had just completed my last radiotherapy session for prostrate cancer and was in great pain with a urinary infection and other symptoms from the treatment.

Sometimes a long wait to be answered and sometimes cut off when nearly to the front of the queue
