I was asked to collect bp monitor - I was not told why: I was not told how to use it; I was not told follow up procedure. When readings rose to danger level(I had to go to nhs website for that’s)! It was suggested a doctor call me back later in the day! I was grudgingly given an appointment with a student who could not tell me why I was given a monitor. She called a doctor who could not tell me either! Doctor prescribed meds which I had to chase up later in the morning as that had not gone through. Further tests arranged: hopefully I will get some feedback and action plan at this point!

The waiting time on the phone is ridiculous.

Instead of having to wait for an age for an answer, could a system be put in place to call the patient back on an automated system?

I was asked to make an apt, it was very easy.

All excellent.
