On this occasion I was 'lucky' in that the surgery contacted me and I was given a choice of several appointments either telephone or in person but generally I have found it challenging to try to get an appointment

It was a telephone appointment. My Doctor’s last day before retiring. The purpose of the appointment was to discuss blood results and a way forward.

Wait time on hold can be long. 2 weeks or more for an appointment but probably the national standard

Nothing, Dr Woodhams is excellent. Down to earth. Explains why she is doing what she does or thinking what she thinks. I feel very comfortable with her and never rushed.

My appointment was undertaken in a professional and caring way and I was satisfied with the outcome. Whilst the wait in the que to speak to someone about making an appointment can be long once you get through they are very helpful.
