The surgery approached me with a reminder about my annual blood tests. The subsequent making of an appointment was straightforward and changing it was easy with the receptionist being very helpful.

My pet hates are long telephone queues and music whilst waiting . The queue did move at a reasonable pace and if I had been aware of the less busy times I would have phoned then. Perhaps some dynamic call rescheduling would help

A telephone appointment was made, but had to wait 2-3 weeks for it. The phone rang and I was cut off. So no conversation with a doctor took place!! And no call back..

At least phone back if you are cut off!!

I telephoned first thing in the morning , 4 calls in front of me, after a little discussion, I was offered an appointment to see Dr Sherwell later that morning.

Phone waiting times usually quite lengthy. It’s often easier to pop in and speak to the receptionist face to face in order to arrange an appointment.

Improve phone access.
