Had two appointments booked for the family and felt in the time the family was in with the other two appointments I could have been seen in person and not had a telephone call with one of the locum doctors… I was advised to go to A&E for treatment as the doctor said the practice was unable to deal with my concern. I explained I had been to A&E previously for the concern and was given antibiotics instead of draining the fluid in my elbow joint. I was told that he would send me a text message explaining what he wanted them to do. I received the text message however when at A&E they told me they don’t work off of text messages as it could have been sent from anyone

I think I need to be referred to a specialist as this is the fourth time the symptoms have presented. I feel like there is no point in returning to the doctors or A&E as feel I am getting passed from pillar to post without seeing the correct people. Two visits to A&E and a call with the doctor and was not even seen by a GP isn’t great
