Not long waiting on phone to get an appointment. Got one the following week. Got seen not long after my appointment time. Doctor was great

I came in because of a verruca. The doctor said they don't treat them anymore. However your receptionist said I needed to make an appointment to see the doctor before I could get referred. The doctor said they no longer do referrals so the only treatment is occlusion and or over the counter remedies. I feel my appointment was a waste of everyone's time as had a known that I wouldn't have made one. Can you please keep your receptionist upto date with procedures to save on wasted appointments.
