I was third in the queue and still had to wait 45 minutes for the phone to be answered. Absolutely disgusting customer service. I dread having to call as 45 minutes is a good wait time at this surgery, on trying previously I was 8th or 10th in the queue so at that rate looking at 2-2.5 hrs on hold !!! I was at the front of the queue waiting to be put through for 15minutes !! where were the receptionists?

Suggested improvements
Get more staff to answer the phones. What if this was urgent, you are just pushing more people into A&E for other issues as the phones are not getting answered within a reasonable timeframe. I work as well and cannot spend hours on a phone waiting for a call to be answered as so have calls to answer too, so to book an appointment I need to take time off work. Really poor service.
