Sometimes an appointment is for 3 to 4 weeks away, which I don't mind if it's not urgent I know they're busy, but I would hope to get a sooner appointment if I felt worried about my symptoms. In the past I have received excellent consultation when needed, and a referral appointment arriving quicker than I had expected.
