Share review of The Glebe Surgery
I unfortunately had to make a complaint to the surgery about how I was spoken to by one of the receptionist members of staff in the car parking area. At the time I did not know who she was, could have been anyone. Being pregnant and vulnerable, I felt very threatened by her and I feel as though I should be contacted for a formal apology by the person in question. Rachel, one of the practise nurses was very concerned how much I was shaking due to the confrontation in her office afterwards. I do not feel like NHS staff should be talking to people in this way and if there is an issue with parking, talking to people with some decency is strongly advisable. There is clearly not enough suitable facilities for patients of the practise, with no mother and baby parking. Being pregnant aswell I would like to know what the procedure is, I cannot walk to the practise, or do I miss my appointment as a vulnerable person. This needs to be made clear. I would not have been able to attend another appointment due to staff being prioritised over patient care. Might I reiterate, a pregnant one. The confrontation was completely unnecessary and I would hope that no body else gets spoken to by the practice in this way. As clearly not all staff here have their duty of care up to stratch.
